29 CFR  1910.147(c)(4)(i): Procedures were not developed, documented and utilized for the control of potentially hazardous energy when employees were engaged in activities covered by this section.  On or about, July 23, 2024, the employer did not develop, document and utilize energy control procedures for the kneader/calendar machine prior to allowing employees to perform service and maintenance activities.  Employees performing set-up while feeding new material into the calendar machine were exposed to crushing hazards from nip points created by the machine's rollers.   Abatement documentation is required for this item in accordance with the requirements of 29 CFR 1903.19(d).
