At a new residential construction site, located at Mezzanine Street Building 24 #3990 Hardwick Farms:  On or about August 28, 2024, the employer exposed employees to struck-by hazards, in that protective eyewear was not utilized by employees while using an electrical saw, metal hammer and nail guns for framing work.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, a personal fall arrest system, or an alternative fall protection measure as provided by another provision in paragraph (b) of this section:  a.  At a residential construction site located at Mezzanine Street Building 24 #3990 Hardwick Farms:  On or about August 28, 2024, the employer was exposing 4 employees to a 10-foot fall hazard, in that the employees were not wearing fall protection when installing the roof trusses.

At a new residential construction site, located at Mezzanine Street Building 24 #3990 Hardwick Farms:  On or about August 28, 2024, employees were exposed to a trip and fall hazard while accessing the homemade ladder with wood panels and electrical cords on the floor.

At a new residential construction site, located at Mezzanine Street Building 24 #3990 Hardwick Farms:  On or about August 28, 2024, the employer exposed employees to a 10-foot fall hazard in that ladder used to access the roof did not extend at least 3 feet above the upper landing of the roof.
