29 CFR 1926.503(a)(2): The employer did not assure that each employee exposed to fall hazards was trained by a competent person qualified in the areas specified in 29 CFR 1926.503 (a)(2)(i) through (viii) a) Bottini Funeral Home, 120 West Embargo Street, Rome, NY 13440, on the roof, on or about 8/27/24: Workers were installing roofing material onto a multi-story, multi-pitch (gable-dormer on gambrel) with a ground to eave height of 13 and 22 feet from ground, without fall protection of any kind and without a competent person to identify the hazard and provide training on fall protection. Abatement certification must be submitted for this item.
