29 CFR  1910.95(c)(1): The employer did not administer a continuing, effective hearing conservation program as described in 29 CFR 1910.95(c) through (o) whenever employee noise exposures equaled or exceeded an 8-hour time-weighted average sound level of 85 decibels measured on the A scale or, equivalently, a dose of fifty percent:   (a) In the weld destruct department, an operator was exposed to noise levels at 225.6% of the permissible 8-hour TWA (90 dBA).  The equivalent dBA level of 225.6% is approximately 95.8 dBA.  Sampling was performed for 444 minutes during one shift on January 23, 2025.  Zero exposure was assumed for the unsampled time.  (b) In the weld destruct department, an operator was exposed to noise levels at 238.5% of the permissible 8-hour TWA (90 dBA).  The equivalent dBA level of 238.5% is approximately 96.2 dBA.  Sampling was performed for 465 minutes during one shift on January 23, 2025.  Zero exposure was assumed for the unsampled time.

The equivalent dBA level of 238.5% is approximately 96.2 dBA.  Sampling was performed for 465 minutes during one shift on January 23, 2025.  Zero exposure was assumed for the unsampled time.
