29 CFR 1910.28(b)(1)(i): The employer did not ensure that each employee on a walking-working surface with an unprotected side or edge that is 4 feet (1.2 m) or more above a lower level is protected from falling by one or more of the systems described in 29 CFR 1910.28(b)(1)(i):   a) Assembly Area, Ward Apparatus LLC, 1250 Schweizer Road, Horseheads, NY, 14845, on or about 10/3/2024; Employees were not protected from fall hazards when working on top of emergency response trucks in the assembly area. The top of the trucks did not have guardrails or personal fall protection exposing employees to a fall distance of greater than 4 feet.   Abatement certification is required.
