29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1): The employer shall ensure that each affected employee uses appropriate eye or face protection when exposed to eye or face hazards from flying particles, molten metal, liquid chemicals, acids or caustic liquids, chemical gases or vapors, or potentially injurious light radiation.  a) On or about October 17th, 2024, employees were exposed to struck by hazards from using a pneumatic air nail gun(s) and hammers to secure underlayment to a residential roof without wearing eye protection.

29 CFR  1926.501(b)(13):Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b):   a) On or about October 17, 2024, employees were exposed to fall hazards of 11 feet to the ground below, while performing roofing operations on a residential house without fall protection.
