On or about October 22, 2024, Hickory Lakeside Subdivision Lot #8, Cumming, GA - Employees were exposed to struck-by hazard. Employees were performing framing activities on the newly constructed residential home, with pneumatic nail guns without wearing impact resistant eye protection.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system.  a) On or about October 22, 2024, Hickory Lakeside Subdivision Lot #8, Cumming, GA - Employees were exposed to fall hazard. An employee was not utilizing fall protection while installing plywood sheathing while working on the roof, approximately 17 feet above ground level.

29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(4): Ladders were not used for the purpose for which they were designed.  a) On or about October 22, 2024, Hickory Lakeside Subdivision Lot #8, Cumming, GA -, the employer exposed employees to falls of approximately 17-feet, 3-inches to the lower level, in that an employee was utilizing a A-Frame ladder in the closed position which is prohibited.
