29 CFR  1926.501(b)(1):Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems.  a) 2784 King Ave West, Billings MT 59102:  On or about October 29, 2024, and at times prior, employees were exposed to fall hazards of approximately 20 feet to the asphault below while painting the side of a commercial building.

29 CFR  1926.451(g)(1)(vii):Each employee on a scaffold, not otherwise specified in paragraphs (g)(1)(i) through (g)(1)(vi) of this section, more than 10 feet (3.1 m) above lower level was not protected from falls by the use of personal fall arrest systems or guardrail systems meeting the requirements of paragraph (g)(4) of this section.  a) 2784 King Ave West, Billings, MT 59102:  On or about October 29, 2024, and at times prior, employees were exposed to fall hazards of approximately 20 feet to the concrete ground below while utilizing the railing of a Micro19 scissor lift to egress into the basket from the commercial roof.
