29 CFR 1910.22(d)(1): The employer did not ensure that walking-working surfaces are inspected, regularly and as necessary, and maintained in a safe condition  a) At the FGD Ball mill conveyor at Tampa Electric Company's Big Bend power plant, on or about 10/29/2024, the employer exposed employees to fall hazards, in that, the grating accessed by employees after demoing part of the conveyor was not secured to prevent employees from falling through approximately 20 feet while they were performing work activities.  In the Alternative:   29 CFR  1926.501(a)(2):The employer did not determine if the walking/working surfaces on which its employees were to work on, had the strength and structure integrity to support employees safely:  a) At the FGD Ball mill conveyor at Tampa Electric Company's Big Bend power plant, on or about 10/29/2024, the employer exposed employees to fall hazards, in that, the grating accessed by employees after demoing part of the conveyor was not secured to prevent employees from falling through approximately 20 feet while they were performing work activities.
