Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels shall be protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system unless another provision in paragraph (b) of this section provides for an alternative fall protection measure.   a. Located at 426 Emily Drive, Plain City, OH 43064:  On or about November 6, 2024, employees walked and worked on an under-construction residential roof at heights of approximately 8 feet or more without fall protection or prevention equipment or systems, exposing them to fall hazards.
