29 CFR 1910.165(e): Manually operated actuation devices for use in conjunction with employee alarms were not unobstructed, conspicuous, and readily accessible: (a) On or about 10/30/2024, #80 Kronprindens Gade St. Thomas, US Virgin Islands 00802 - Supermarket Area Main Exit Door (North), the manual fire alarm pull station was obstructed by a checkout counter and a metal rack containing various types of merchandise (water bottles/cases), exposing occupants and employees to fire hazard. NOTE: Certification and documentation of abatement must be submitted for this citation item as required by CFR 1903.19(c).
