29 CFR  1926.451(c)(2)(iv):Front-end loaders and similar pieces of equipment were used to support scaffold platforms when they were not specifically designed by the manufacturer for such use:  a) Worksite was located at 45 Blue Hills Drive, Holmdel, NJ 07733:  Two workers were exposed to fall hazards of over two-stories to ground while they were doing prep work to paint one of the chimneys on the house. The workers were standing in a trash box with no fall protection.  Violation was observed on or about November 7, 2024.  NOTE: IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM. FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.

29 CFR  1926.451(c)(2)(v):Fork-lifts were used to support scaffold platforms while the entire platform was not attached to the fork and the fork-lift was moved horizontally while the platform was occupied:  a) Worksite was located at 45 Blue Hills Drive, Holmdel, NJ 07733:  Two workers were exposed to fall hazards while standing in a trash box with no fall protection that was held up by a SANY STH1056A Telehandler.  The telehandler was moved  horizontally into position and out of position when elevating and descending the trash box.  Violation was observed on or about November 7, 2024.  NOTE: IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM. FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.
