29 CFR  1926.501(b)(10):Each employee engaged in roofing activities on low-slope roofs with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet or more above lower levels, was not protected from falling by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, or a combination of warning line system and guardrail system, warning line system and safety net system, or warning line system and personal fall arrest system, or warning line system and safety monitoring system.  Or, on roofs 50-feet (15.25 m) or less in width, each employee was not protected by use of a monitoring system.  A.) Champion Roofing and Construction LLC., 3711 W 12th Street, ERIE, PA 16505, On or about 11/20/24 and times prior thereto: Employees working on a 2:12 low slope roof with no fall protection.  Employees were exposed to a fall hazard of 9 feet to 24 feet while conducting roofing work.  ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION AND DOCUMENTATION REQUIRED: Abatement certification is required within 10 days after the abatement date noted on the citation.  This certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, the date abatement was completed, method of abatement, and state that employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement. IN ADDITION, abatement documentation shall include documents demonstrating that abatement is complete, such as evidence of the purchase or repair of equipment, photographic, or video evidence or abatement or other written records.
