29 CFR  1926.652(b)(1)(ii):Slopes specified in paragraph b(1)(i) of this section, were not excavated to form configurations that are in accordance with the slopes shown for Type C soil in Appendix B to this subpart.  Location: 105-161 Hyatt Lane. Newark, NJ 07105  a: The employer failed to build correct sloping for a 12-foot-deep excavation in type C soil. Employees were exposed to cave-in hazards for working inside excavation sloped at 1:1 where no cave-in protection means were installed.  Violation occurred on or about November 20, 2024.
