29 CFR 1910.95(d)(1):When information indicated that any employee's exposure equaled or exceed the 8-hour time-weighted average of 85 decibels, the employer did not develop and implement a monitoring program: a) Plant 1: On or about December 3, 2024, and at times prior, the employer exposed employees to continuous noise at 128.8% of the permissible daily exposure of 85 dBA (8-hour time weighted average) or equivalent sound levels of 91.8 dBA during 583 minutes sampling period. The exposure calculation included a zero increment of the 30 minutes not sampled. The employer did not develop and implement a monitoring program for employees exposed to potential hearing loss while operating the press machine.
