29 CFR  1910.151(c):Where employees were exposed to injurious corrosive materials, suitable facilities for quick drenching or flushing of the eyes and body were not provided within the work area for immediate emergency use:  a.  Specialty Fabrication and Powder Coating, LLC, Wash Bay area, on or about December 10th, 2024 and times prior thereto:  Employees worked with and around corrosive materials including, but not limited to Cal Prep 52C (Detergent). The plumbed emergency eyewash station in the Wash Bay area was not suitable for quick drenching/flushing of the eyes and/or face in that:  1.	The plumbed eyewash was inspected monthly versus weekly. 2.	Upon activation the eyewash unit contained high pressure water that could cause further damage to the eye if used in an emergency event. 3.	The eyewash unit contained "hot" water which could cause further damage to the eye if used in an emergency event.   ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED: Abatement certification is required within 10 days after the abatement date noted on the citation (see below).  This certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, the date abatement was completed, method of abatement, and state that employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.

29 CFR 1910.303(b)(7):  Electrical equipment was not installed in a neat and workmanlike manner:   a.)	Specialty Fabrication and Powder Coating, LLC, spray booth room next to entry doorway, on or about December 10th, 2024, and times prior thereto:  A flexible Metal-Clad Cable (MC) was used as a means of fixed wiring for a light on the floor in the area outside of the spray booth room.  The MC cable was powering a light fixture and was not supported at 6-foot intervals nor was supported within 12 inches of the junction box.   ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED: Abatement certification is required within 10 days after the abatement date noted on the citation (see below).  This certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, the date abatement was completed, method of abatement, and state that employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement. 29 CFR  1910.303(g)(1)(ii): The required working space about electric equipment rated 600 volts, nominal, or less to ground, was used for storage:  a.)	Specialty Fabrication and Powder Coating, LLC, spray booth room, on or about December 10th, 2024, and times prior thereto:  Items including, but not limited to, various ladders were stored directly in front of an electrical disconnect box.  The electrical disconnect was listed with a title of "Air Handler and Economizer" and was a Cutler-Hammer brand Heavy-Duty Safety switch (30 Amp, 600 Volt A-C).   ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED: Abatement certification is required within 10 days after the abatement date noted on the citation (see below).  This certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, the date abatement was completed, method of abatement, and state that employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.

29 CFR  1910.107(g)(7): "No smoking" signs in large letters on contrasting color backgrounds were not conspicuously posted at all spraying areas:   a)	Specialty Fabrication and Powder Coating, LLC, spray booth room, on or about December 10th, 2024, and times prior thereto:  Areas around the spray booth area, where various powdered metals were sprayed, did not contain "No smoking" signage.
