29 CFR  1910.151(c):Where employees were exposed to injurious corrosive materials, suitable facilities for quick drenching or flushing of the eyes and body were not provided within the work area for immediate emergency use:  At the shop area, employees engaged in automotive repair, maintenance and housekeeping activities were exposed to corrosive hazards in that an eyewash station was not provided or available throughout the facility. Employees utilize chemicals such as, but not limited to: Potassium Hydroxide Solution for floor cleaning purposes and according to the Safety Data Sheets, it is a corrosive.

Employees including, but not limited to, those in the repair/maintenance shop area were provided personal protective equipment to include safety glasses and gloves.

29 CFR  1910.157(e)(2):Portable fire extinguishers were not visually inspected at least monthly:  At the maintenance/repair shop area, employees are exposed to fire hazards in that the fire extinguishers were not inspected on a monthly basis: 1) At the East side of the shop a fire extinguisher did not have the monthly inspection recorded/documented. 2) At the West side of the shop a fire extinguisher did not have the monthly inspection recorded/documented.
