OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that the employer did not ensure that warehouse racking systems were properly installed and repaired exposing employees to struck by hazards from palletized product: a) Warehouse: On or about January 22, 2025, warehouse employees were exposed to struck-by hazards due to utilizing a warehouse racking system that had damaged vertical posts. b) Warehouse: On or about January 22, 2025, warehouse employees were exposed to struck-by hazards due to utilizing a warehouse racking system that had posts out of plumb. c) Warehouse: On or about January 22, 2025, warehouse employees were exposed to struck-by hazards due to utilizing a warehouse racking system that had racks that were not straight. d) Warehouse: On or about January 22, 2025, warehouse employees were exposed to struck-by hazards due to utilizing a warehouse racking system of which the baseplates were not properly secured to prevent them from shifting while storing and removing palletized product utilizing powered industrial trucks. Abatement certification required.
