29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1): The employer did not ensure that each affected employee uses appropriate eye or face protection when exposed to eye or face hazards from flying particles.  On or about January 29, 2025,  an employee utilized a pneumatic nail gun to install cripples to a stud wall without eye protective equipment.   Jose Alberto Vargas was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1710977, citation number 1, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on March 5, 2024, with respect to a workplace located at 51066 Sand Verbena Ave., El Paso, TX  79934.
