29 CFR 1926.20(b)(1):The employer did not initiate and maintain such programs as may be necessary to comply with the standards set forth in 29 CFR 1926 as evidenced by the violation(s) noted during the course of the inspection: At the temporary jobsite located at 16950 W. 86th Street, Lenexa, KS, employee(s) engaged in construction work were exposed to struck-by and electrical hazards associated with carpentry work using table saws, miter saws, extension cords, air compressors, pneumatic nailers, among other tools, in that the employees were not instructed in the recognition of construction hazards and the methods to mitigate those hazards. The employer had not developed nor implemented safety and health programs that provide construction hazard recognition guidelines to mitigate those hazards.

Employees engaged in construction work located at 16950 W. 86th Street, Lenexa, Kansas were exposed to stuck-by, caught-between, and electrical hazards while using table saws, miter saws, extension cords, air compressors, pneumatic nailers, among other tools. Employees were exposed in that the employer had not provided training or instructions to employee(s) regarding the recognition and avoidance of unsafe conditions associated with construction work.
