29 CFR  1910.213(r)(4): The mention of specific machines in paragraphs (a) thru (q) and this paragraph (r) of this section, inclusive, is not intended to exclude other woodworking machines from the requirement that suitable guards and exhaust hoods be provided to reduce to a minimum the hazard due to the point of operation of such machines.   a) On or before 1/30/25, the employer did not ensure that the Delta Unisaw 10" tilting arbor saw that utilizes dado blades and combination blades had a guard that enclosed the exposed portion of the saw protruding from the table and above the material being cut when employees were cutting wooden panels.  b) On or before 1/30/25, the employer did not ensure that a sliding saw (SCMI SI 300 Nova Serial# 195826) that utilizes high alternate top bevel (ATB) blades had a guard that enclosed the exposed portion of the saw protruding from the table and above the material being cut in that employees had to remove the guard entirely to cut wooden panels due to boards becoming stuck due to the riving knife not being adjusted correctly.
