29 CFR  1910.212(a)(1):One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks:  a) At production area, employees engaged in Styrofoam cutting were exposed to amputation hazards, in that the CNC machine , Make: C.R. Onsrud, Model: 241G18, did not have a method of machine guarding to prevent employees from entering any part of their body into the point of operation when the machine's is in operation.

29 CFR  1910.242(b): Compressed air used for cleaning purposes was not reduced to less than 30 p.s.i.:(a)(LOCATION)(IDENTIFY SPECIFIC OPERATION(S) AND/OR CONDITIONS)(DESCRIBE HAZARD(S) WHERE NECESSARY)  a) In the Foam sealing area, compressed air was used for cleaning purposes that was not reduced to an effective pressure of less than 30 psi.  Compressed air hand dispensing wand for cleaning had a dead end measured pressure greater than 45 psi, as observed on or about February 4, 2025.  b) In the CNC machine area, compressed air was used for cleaning purposes that was not reduced to an effective pressure of less than 30 psi.  Compressed air hand dispensing wand for cleaning had a dead end measured pressure of 45 psi, as observed on or about February 4, 2025.  c) In the assembly table adjacent to foam sealing area, compressed air was used for cleaning purposes that was not reduced to an effective pressure of less than 30 psi.  Compressed air hand dispensing wand for cleaning had a dead end measured pressure of 80 psi, as observed on or about February 4, 2025.

29 CFR  1910.305(g)(1)(iv)(A):Flexible cords and/or cables were used as a substitute for the fixed wiring of a structure:  a) At the CNC Machine area, employees are exposed to electrical hazards, in that a flexible cord was used to power the computer used at the CNC operation, connected to the battery backup unit.  As observed on or about February 4, 2025.  b) In the foam sealing area, employees are exposed to electrical hazards, in that a flexible cord was used to power a ventilation fan, as observed on or about February 4, 2025.
