29 CFR 1926.304(d): Portable, power-driven circular saw(s) were not equipped with a guard above and below the base plate or shoe:  (a) On or about February 6, 2025, an employee working on the South side of the house was not protected from being cut when using a Makita 7.25-inch circular saw(s) to cut cornicing and siding boards, in that the lower guard was held in the up open position by a wooden wedge.  (b) On or about February 6, 2025, an employee working on the North side of the house was not protected from being cut when using a Makita 7.25-inch circular saw(s) to cut cornicing and siding boards, in that the lower guard was held in the up open position by a wooden wedge.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b):  (a) On or about February 6, 2025, an employee was working to install cornicing and siding while standing on wood planking approximately sixteen (16) feet above the ground below and was not protected from falling.
