29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13):Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): Location 44 Paddock Road, Oak Bluffs, MA On or about February 12, 2025, employees were exposed to fall hazards while while working near unprotected edges where the employer did not utilize fall protection methods such as guardrails or Person fall protection systems. Instance 1 - Employees were working at a cut station on the back portion of the house were exposed to falls of approximately 11 feet 6 inches while working on the back deck area between the bedrooms. Instance 2 - Employees were working and transiting between the area connecting the second story bedroom to the second story of the garage were exposed to falls of approximately 11 feet 6 inches while working.
