29 CFR  1926.20(b)(2): The employer did not initiate and maintain programs which provided for frequent and regular inspections of the job site, materials and equipment to be made by a competent person(s):  (a) Satilla Circle, Lot #15, Madison, AL 35756: On or about February 26, 2025, the employer exposed employees to safety hazards in construction, in that he did not develop a safety program and provide a competent person to conduct frequent and regular inspections of jobsites, materials, and employees while they conducted framing activities on a new single family residential home, with pneumatic nail guns, while working from the second level ceiling joists at heights 6-feet and greater to the ground below without fall protection and eye protection.

29 CFR  1926.21(b)(2):The employer did not instruct each employee in the recognition and avoidance of unsafe conditions and the regulations applicable to his/her environment to control or eliminate any hazards or other exposure to illness or injury:  (a)  Satilla Circle, Lot #15, Madison, AL 35756: On or about February 26, 2025, the employer exposed employees to safety hazards in construction, in that he did not instruct his employees in the recognition and avoidance of unsafe conditions in their work environment, such as but not limited to, fall hazards in construction 6 feet or greater to the ground below and struck-by hazards while they conducted new residential construction framing activities, operating pneumatic nail guns, while working without fall protection and eye protection.

29 CFR  1926.102(a)(1): The employer shall ensure that each affected employee uses appropriate eye or face protection when exposed to eye or face hazards from flying particles, molten metal, liquid chemicals, acids or caustic liquids, chemical gases or vapors, or potentially injurious light radiation:  (a) Satilla Circle, Lot #15, Madison, AL 35756: On or about February 26, 2025, the employer exposed employees to struck-by hazards, in that the employer did not ensure that the employees were wearing safety glasses while operating pneumatic nail guns while employees were engaged in residential framing activities.
