29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems.   (a) 1034 Asbury Ave., Ocean City, NJ: Worker engaged in gutter installation and other related activities was exposed to fall hazards, roughly 30 feet to the ground surface below, when walking on and working near unprotected edges of the third-floor level roof of a commercial structure without the use of fall protection. Condition noted on or about 03/03/2025.  NOTE: IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM, FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.
