29 CFR 1910.178(q)(1): Power industrial trucks not in safe operating condition were not removed from service: Facility - Powered industrial trucks were not in safe operating condition and were found in use in the following instances: a) Forklift #8, S/N H2X391V01290/2019 - Main hoist cylinder hydraulic line was worn down to the steel braiding and included wear on the steel braiding. b) Forklift #40, S/N 96646316 - A side shift hydraulic line pulley was bent, and the casing was cracked on the side shift hydraulic line. c) Forklift #39, S/N AT36A00040 - Hydraulic fluid was leaking around a loose jam nut fitting. CHEP Recycled Pallet Solutions, LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.178(q)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1631581, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on May 5, 2023, with respect to a workplace located at 1 Commerce Drive Barrington, NJ 08007. CHEP Recycled Pallet Solutions, LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.178(p)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1553199, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on March 30, 2022, with respect to a workplace located at 3011 Clark Avenue Building 1 Albany, GA 31705.
