29 CFR  1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employees provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501(b):   (a) On or about April 11, 2025, at the 1757 Whispering Ct., Addison, IL 60101 job site, the employer did not ensure fall protection systems were used by its employees engaged in residential re-roofing of a two-story single family house. Employees were exposed to falls of approximately 25 feet to the ground.   (b) On or about April 11, 2025, at the 1757 Whispering Ct., Addison, IL 60101 job site, the employer did not ensure that employees were protected from the hazard of falling to the lower level while performing residential roofing work around an unguarded skylight located in the East side of the roof.  Abatement documentation is required for this item in accordance with the requirements of 29 CFR 1903.19(d).

29 CFR  1926.503(a)(1): The employer did not provide a training program for each employee who might be exposed to fall hazards:   On or about April 11, 2025, at the 1757 Whispering Ct., Addison, IL 60101 job site, the employer did not provide training to each employee in order to recognize hazards associated with working at an elevation and to understand procedures to control or minimize those hazards. Employees engaged in residential re-roofing of a two-story single family house were exposed to falls of approximately 25 feet to the ground.  Abatement documentation is required for this item in accordance with the requirements of 29 CFR 1903.19(d).
