29 CFR  1910.1025(d)(2):Initial determination. Each employer who has a workplace or work operation covered by this standard did not determine if any employee may be exposed to lead at or above the action level.   Hopper of the Kivalina/Noatk Barge - On or about May 13th, 2025, employees scraping and sweeping lead containing debris from the bottom of the hoppers, were exposed to hazards associated with lead, because the employer had not performed air sampling to determine if the employees conducting these tasks were exposed to airborne lead above the action level (25 micrograms per cubic meter) or the permissible exposure limit (50 micrograms per cubic meter).  NOTE: The requirements set forth in the shipbuilding standard 1915.1025 are identical to those in 1910.1025.
