29 CFR 1926.451(g)(1)(vii): Each employee on a scaffold, not otherwise specified in paragraphs (g)(1)(i) through (g)(1)(vi) of this section, more than 10 feet (3.1 m) above lower level was not protected from falls by the use of personal fall arrest systems or guardrail systems meeting the requirements of paragraph (g)(4) of this section.  a) Building 2 - 10 Ashton Street, Swedesboro NJ:  A company worksite worker was exposed to fall hazards, in excess of 25 feet to the ground surface,  when working/walking from a tubular welded framed supported scaffold's side bracket that was not provided with an end stop. Observed on or about 05/19/25.  NOTE:  IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM, FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.

29 CFR  1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems.   a- 19 Ashton Street, Swedesboro NJ:  The company worksite Foreman was exposed to fall hazards, in excess of 13 feet 6 inches to the ground surface below, when walking and working from the tops of two cement hopper bins without fall protection. Condition observed on or about 05/19/25.
