29 CFR  1926.453(b)(2)(iv):Employees shall always stand firmly on the floor of the basket, and shall not sit or climb on the edge of the basket or use planks, ladders, or other devices for a work position.  a) Worksite was located at Ocean Park Avenue Condominiums, 200 Ocean Park Avenue, Bradley Beach, NJ 07720:  A worker performing balcony and vestibule repairs was observed climbing and standing on the guardrails of a JLG 400S Telescoping Boom Lift while doing their tasks. The worker was exposed to fall hazards of approximately twenty feet to ground.  Violation was observed on or about May 28, 2025.  NOTE: IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM. FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.

29 CFR  1926.453(b)(2)(v):A body belt shall be worn and a lanyard attached to the boom or basket when working from an aerial lift.  a) Worksite was located at Ocean Park Avenue Condominiums, 200 Ocean Park Avenue, Bradley Beach, NJ 07720:  Two workers performing balcony and vestibule repairs were observed working from a JLG 400S Telescoping Boom Lift while doing their tasks. The workers were not utilizing fall protection and exposed to fall hazards of approximately twenty feet to ground.  Violation was observed on or about May 28, 2025.  NOTE: IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM. The worker was exposed to fall hazards of approximately twenty feet to ground.  Violation was observed on or about May 28, 2025.  NOTE: IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM.
