29 CFR  1926.451(g)(1): Each employee on a scaffold more than 10 feet (3.1 m) above a lower level shall be protected from falling to that lower level. Paragraphs (g)(1)(i) through (vii) of this section establish the types of fall protection to be provided to the employees on each type of scaffold. Paragraph (g)(2) of this section addresses fall protection for scaffold erectors and dismantlers.  a. Located at Lot 336, 2018 Mirtillo Drive, Hilliard, Ohio 43026: On or about June 10, 2025, the employer failed to ensure the employees working off of a pump jack scaffold  that was more then 10 feet from the ground level were protected from falling when installing house siding material on a two-story single-family home. The employees were exposed to a fall of approximately 14 feet 6 inches from the edge of the scaffold platform to the ground below.
