29 CFR  1910.36(d)(2): Exit route doors were not free of a device or alarm that could restrict emergency use of the exit route if the device or alarm fails:  Laundry Area:  The following exit route doors were equipped with interior thumb locks that were not in good working order and restricted the emergency use of the exit  route doors: a) Cart Storage Room - the thumb lock of the exit route door was jammed in the locked position. b) Laundry Room - the thumb lock of the side exit route door was difficult to open consistently and required multiple attempts. c) Laundry Room Main Employee Entrance to rear of building - the thumb lock of the exit route door was difficult to open because the door jamb did not align correctly with the thumb lock.
