29 CFR 1910.9(b): The employer?s training program did not adequately emphasize certain expectations, and each failure to train an employee may be considered a separate violation: a) On or about June 24, 2025, the employer did not adequately emphasize requirements related to the use of seat belts and rollover protection and mowing near drop-offs, ditches, retaining walls, water, and steep slopes in the mower safety training that was provided to an employee who operated a SCAG Patriot zero-turn riding lawnmower at the rear end of a landscaping jobsite.
