The door was found to be missing a door handle/knob. This condition potentially exposed employees to fire and egress hazards.

29 CFR 1910.36(e)(2): The door that connects any room to an exit route did not swing out in the direction of exit travel when the room is designed to be occupied by more than 50 people or if the room is a high hazard area (i.e., contains contents that are likely to burn with extreme rapidity or explode). Main Lodge: On and/or before July 2, 2025, and times prior thereto, the employer did not ensure that their rear exit door opened outward in the direction of travel when egressing. This condition potentially exposed employees to fire and egress hazards.

29 CFR 1910.37(b)(2): Each exit was not clearly visible and marked by a sign reading "Exit": Main Lodge: On and/or before July 2, 2025, and times prior thereto, the employer did not ensure that their rear door were appropriately marked and identified by a sign reading "Exit". This condition potentially exposed employees to fire and egress hazards. Notice 1, Item 1, group letter a, 29 CFR 1910.37(b)(2) as required by 29 CFR 1960.8(b): The employer failed to mark and identify doors that were deemed an exit with an exit sign. The employer was cited for a violation of the 29 CFR 1910.37(b)(2) on December 17, 2024, Inspection 1790407, date January 24, 2025, of final order and means of abatement.
