OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to thermal burns while using a heat gun next to flammable materials. a) 21-21 Broadway, Fair Lawn, NJ: On July 2, 2025, two employees of Depasquale Salon Systems, Inc were exposed to a thermal burns while using a Drill Master 1500 Watt Dual Temperature Heat Gun near combustible materials. The two employees sustained second degree burns to their legs and first degree burns to their face while using a heat gun next to spray cans.
