29 CFR 1926.20(b)(2): The employer did not initiate and maintain programs which provided for frequent and regular inspections of the job site, materials and equipment to be made by a competent person(s). Location: Job site; On or about 07/14/2025, Santos Hardwood Floor and Construction LLC as a controlling employer, did not ensure that frequent and regular inspections of the job site were performed by a competent person. As a result, subcontractor employees from Carlos M Yauri Romero DBA Carlos Construction were exposed to hazards in the following instances: Instance a: electrical shock or electrocution hazards from exposure to live electrical service lines leading into the residence which were left unprotected and in the vicinity of the workers. Instance b: falls from 13 to 16-feet from a residential roof to the ground below without the use of fall protection.
