29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(1): Where portable ladders were used for access to an upper landing surface and the ladder's length allows, the ladder side rails did not extend at least 3 feet (.9 m) above the upper landing surface being accessed: a) New residential construction located on Lot 17 at 3552 Burkston Place, Buford, GA 30519, Top plate: On or about 07/28/2025, the employer exposed employees to fall hazards of 10-feet, 3-inches to the lower level, in that the ladder provided did not extend at least 3-feet past the landing to allow for safe access while engaged in framing activities.
