29 CFR  1926.501(b)(11): "Steep roofs." Each employee on a steep roof with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels shall be protected from falling by guardrail systems with toeboards, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems.   On or about August 7, 2025, employees were observed performing roofing activities on a structure at a height greater than 25 feet above the ground level without the use of any form of fall protection, such as personal fall arrest systems, guardrail systems with toeboards, or safety net systems.
