29 CFR  1910.178(l)(1)(i):The employer did not ensure that each powered industrial truck operator is competent to operate a powered industrial truck safely, as demonstrated by the successful completion of the training and evaluation specified in this paragraph (l):  a) At the establishment: On and at times prior to September 17, 2025, the employer exposed employees to struck-by hazards, in that, training to operate powered industrial trucks was not provided to employees tasked with forklift operation job duties.    CDC Metals, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent, which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1592459, citation number 1, item number 3-a, and was affirmed as a final order on August 3, 2022, with respect to a workplace located at 500 Vulcan Parkway, Adel, GA.
