OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which was free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to struck-by hazards from falling or collapsing wooden trusses.  At a worksite located at 1147 Cove Road, Surgeon Bay, WI 54235;  On or about September 24, 2025, employees engaged in setting trusses to include nailing bottom chords to the top plate of the walls and installing truss spacers on the top chord of the trusses on a one-story new residential site, were exposed to struck-by/crushing hazards while landing trusses suspended from a crane without the use of a spreader bar that would prevent out-of-plane buckling, and when walking on and between trusses that had not been braced to resist out-of-plane buckling, leaning, and/or collapse due to the lack of temporary and permanent restraint/bracing of truss cords.
