29 CFR  1910.28(b)(1)(i):   Except as provided elsewhere in this section 29 CFR 1910.28, the employer did not ensure that each employee on a walking-working surface with an unprotected side or edge that is 4 feet (1.2 m) or more above a lower level is protected from falling by one or more of the systems described in 29 CFR 1910.28(b)(1)(i):   a) Warehouse - Storage Rack:  On or about 10/28/25;  The employer did not ensure that warehouse employees were protected from a falling approximately 11 feet 4 inches when they climbed up and down ropes from the ground level to the top level of the storage racks and then walked/worked on the 3rd tier of the storage racking without fall protection (e.g., personal fall protection systems, guardrails, safety nets)  in order to retrieve a tent.   Because abatement of this violation is already documented in the inspection file, the employer need not submit certification or documentation of abatement for this violation as normally required by 29 CFR 1903.19.

In addition to abatement certification, the employer is required to submit abatement documentation for this item.  Failure to comply will result in additional penalty of $ 1,000.00 as per 29 CFR 1903.19
