29 CFR  1926.1052(c)(1)(i):Stairways having four or more risers or rising more than 30 inches (76 cm), whichever is less, were not equipped with at least one handrail:  a)3109 Central Ave. Ocean City, NJ: Employees were exposed to a fall hazard over twelve feet to the floor below. Employees used an existing stairwell to move material and access a second floor kitchen. The stairwell did not have any rails or any other protective measures. Observed on or about 11/18/25  NOTE: IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM. FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.
