29 CFR  1926.1052(c)(1)(ii): Stairways having four or more risers or rising more than 30 inches (76 cm), whichever is less, were not equipped with one stair rail system along each unprotected side or edge:   a) On December 9, 2025, employees were using a stairway to access the second story from the first story to perform carpentry work. The stairway was not equipped with a stair rail system on either unprotected side.  No abatement certification or documentation is required for this item.

29 CFR  1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b):  a) On December 9, 2025, employees engaged in framing carpentry work to a newly built residential structure were not protected from fall hazards while working at elevations approximately 14.1 feet above the ground.   Francisco Cazares dba Cazares Framing was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1624280, citation number 2, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on February 15, 2023, with respect to a workplace located at 203 Glade Ave., Elmhurst, IL 60126.   Francisco Cazares dba Cazares Framing was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1569229, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on April 12, 2022, with respect to a workplace located at 860 S York Rd., Elmhurst, IL 60126.  No abatement certification or documentation is required for this item.
