29 CFR  1926.102(a)(1): The employer shall ensure that each affected employee uses appropriate eye or face protection when exposed to eye or face hazards from flying particles, molten metal, liquid chemicals, acids or caustic liquids, chemical gases or vapors, or potentially injurious light radiation:   (a) On or about 01/05/2026 - 5474 Upland Cove, Trussville, AL, the employer did not ensure that an employee operating a nail gun was wearing eye protection.  (b) On or about 01/05/2026 -5474 Upland Cove, Trussville, AL, the employer did not ensure that employee(s) operating circular saws were wearing eye protection.  In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(c), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the CERTIFICATION OF CORRECTIVE ACTION WORKSHEET).
