29 CFR  1910.213(l)(2): Boring bits where not provided with guards that would enclose all portions of the bit and chuck above the material being worked.   (a) Saw Mill, Tail End: On January 8, 2026 and times prior, employees would use the Half Header Boring Machine that was not equipped with a guard to enclose the chuck and unused portions of the bit to prevent employee exposure to the rotating parts.  No abatement certification or documentation required.

29 CFR  1910.151(b):There was neither an infirmary, clinic, or hospital used for the treatment of all injured employees in near proximity to the workplace nor a person or persons adequately trained to render first aid:  (a) Saw Mill, Facility Wide: On or about January 8, 2026 and times prior, there were no infirmaries, clinics or hospitals in near proximity nor certified personnel trained to render first aid in the event of an employee injury.  Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date.  The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states that employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
