29 CFR 1910.151(c): Where employees were exposed to injurious corrosive materials, suitable facilities for quick drenching or flushing of the eyes and body were not provided within the work area for immediate emergency use:   Bldg 477, West end: On or about January 22, 2026, and at times prior thereto, employee(s) worked with car batteries which contained corrosive chemicals such as sulfuric acid. The plumbed eye wash station did not provide adequate water pressure when activated. This condition potentially exposed employee(s) to eye injuries to include blindness.  Notice 1, Item 1, 29 CFR 1910.151(c): The employer failed to verify that the eyewash station was in a working condition which included the requirements as outlined in 29CFR 1910.151(c). The employer was cited for a violation of the same standard on May 9, 2025, inspection # 1815168, with final order date June 17, 2025, and means of abatement.
