Identify and evaluate hazard of the permit space before entry into U4 and U5 ovens as required by 1910.146(d)(2); ii. Specific means, procedures, and practices necessary for specifying acceptable condition for entry into U4 and U5 ovens as required by 1910.146(d)(3); iii. Specific procedures for summoning rescue and emergency services to U4 and U5 ovens for rescuing entrants and prevent unauthorized personnel from attempting a rescue as required by 1910.146(d)(9); iv. Provide training to employees tasked with working in permit required confined spaces to have an understanding, knowledge, and skills necessary for safe performance of duties as required by 1910.146(g)(1).
