29 CFR 1926.300(b)(2): Belts, gears, shafts, pulleys, sprockets, spindles, drums, fly wheels, chains, or other reciprocating, rotating or moving parts of equipment shall be guarded if such parts are exposed to contact by employees or otherwise create a hazard. a) New residential construction located at Lot 9 Timber Lane, Cumming, GA 30040: On or about February 5, 2026, the employer failed to protect employees from laceration and amputation hazards. The belt located on the back side of the air compressor engine was unguarded, exposing employees to contact with a rotating machine parts.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, or an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501(b), nor did the employer demonstrate that it is infeasible or creates a greater hazard to use these systems and develop and implement a fall protection plan which meets the requirements of paragraph (k) of section 1926.502: a) New residential construction located at Lot 9 Timber Lane, Cumming, GA 30040, Roof: On or about 02/05/2026, the employer exposed employees to fall hazards of approximately 30 feet to the lower ground level, in that a fall protection system was not provided to an employee engaged in framing activities.
