29 CFR  1926.102(a)(1): The employer did not ensure that each affected employee used appropriate eye or face protection when exposed to eye or face hazards from flying particles, molten metal, liquid chemicals, acids or caustic liquids, chemical gases or vapors, or potentially injurious light radiation.   On or about  February 06, 2026 , at the front, second and third levels of the house employees were doing framing work and were exposed to eye injuries by not wearing eye protection while using a pneumatic nail gun and DeWalt circular saw.

29 CFR  1926.304(d):Portable, power-driven circular saw(s) were not equipped with a guard above and below the base plate or shoe:  On or about February 6, 2026, at the front and 2nd level of the house employees were using a DeWalt circular saws with  an unguarded blade while cutting wood for framing, the guard was pinned back with a piece of wood.
